Pandurs

In addition to linear infantry fighting mainly in a tight formation, there was another type of light infantry not for major battles. Its mission was to wage guerilla wars, fight in extended formations, and snipe enemy officers. Austrian Croats were doing for these tasks. They set the standards for light infantry formed later in other countries.

 Pandur (Austria)

Infantryman armed with a musket. Reaches targets at long range. Does not shoot if the enemy approaches too close. One of the most effective shooters. You can build Pandurs in XVIII century Barracks.
